Introduction
For the past 14 years I have been a Training Coordinator/Consultant and Senior Management for major corporations and have seen that there are a few areas that can help a small business as well as a large business fail or suffer due to the behaviour of employees. No employee is exempt from their participation in the failure of a great company starting from Management to the bottom line staff. Retraining your staff to modify their behaviour to help your company grow and to be more successful is the first step to greatness. When you return to this blog weekly I will be give you the necessary tools you can use to help you to become a better manager and mentor to help improve your communication skills with your staff. All employees are eager to please once you give them the materials that they need to succeed with you. All management should set up a time that they will be able to have a staff meeting and know that no employee should be missing. First stage is to get all the employees on the same page to let them know how the business is running and what you need to do to grow and what your concerns are.
Once you get their attention set the ground rules with a clean slate. Starting with giving each employee a clean slate going forward. All issues and disciplinaries will be removed and they will be given the chances to start over with no reminders of their past performances.
I am hoping this blog will be able to help you as an owner and or manager to help you grow and be successful. Next week our blog will begin with a session on BEHAVIOR and what I have learned and taught. Employees will surprise you once you put your steps in place.
